IntroductionThis product is an in vitro diagnostic reagent intended for measuring anti-DNA antibodies in serum by RIA (Radioimmunoassay).
The dsDNA antibody (anti-double-stranded DNA antibody) measured by this product is an autoantibody specifically observed in SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus) and is considered useful as an adjunctive aid in the diagnosis of SLE, as well as for evaluation of treatment efficacy and disease monitoring.
